Best of luck tuning this, the 190 is a notoriously soft engine

Agree with young Brian been down the road (ZT 190s)of blown engines and cracked camshafts that break off, cranks rumbling etc plus you will gain very little on a normally aspirated engine to be honest. Looks a lovely car but I would really have a think about upping the power on these.

Good luck with my old car Tom. I should have bought it back seeing it's still in lovely condition. The only power upgrade is the sprinter supercharger. I had a kit which I sold when I sold the car. My kv6 in the zs was running 280 bhp so power gains can be made. But it's a hard journey of experiments and failures. Plus kits are no longer avail. The one I sold was the last one not fitted on a car.

Thanks for all the responses guys.

Those two suzublu and Fusilier are utterly stunning examples... i would love to have all 3 parked up.

Brian - Thanks for the heads up, i've just ordered some plugs to change this week.

Gaz - You should have... but i wont complain, i love the thing, its a really beautiful example and i am over the moon that its mine, Spencers light additions really do set off the front end, i'll get a pic uploaded soon.

As for upgrades, i know they are quite chocolate.. i was just hoping for a few more ponies and a bit more revs.
I'm sure with a good set of cams and pistons/rods it would take some good abuse, most of the failures are cams or piston related.

The Supercharger would be my dream goal but i cant find one anywhere let alone find someone to map it in.
Plus i cant imagine i'd get much change from 2.5k which is an awuful lot of money to spend on a charger on a bone stock engine thats 13yrs old

Thank you all very much!

Gazza190 did all the hard work, i am yet to make my own touches to her, but these will most likely start under the bonnet for now.

Well having finally seen it in the flesh today, I can honestly say it looks as good in reality as the photos!

Certainly looks like you've got yourself a cracker Tom.

Bridge Road, just down from High Bay? Pretty sure it was yours, got a good luck as I crawled past in traffic but forgot to look at the reg to really confirm!

Only noticed it on my way home having been hiding in Kittens Bay in the PPMF...it has been a looong day!
