laptop memory
Hi greeners,
I've just been into the drawer where iI keep the remains of a defunct acer laptop. It has two ddr PC2700 dimms in it but they are each 256mb. You can have them if you want. Let me know where to send them. By the way I also have lots of other bits and bobs (well the complete laptop actually in bits) it is an Acer Aspire 1522 wlmi. About 4 years old and was working perfectly until the nvidia graphics chip went cook about. Widescreen, dvd writer hard drive etc. It's simply in the way. If anyone is near Sheffield and wants it...please come and get it. All I ask in return is more of the forum's invaluable help and advice in future. PM me if any use Greeners

flying pc
Hi Greeners,
Glad they did the trick! I was never likely to use them for anything anyway. I am trying to find a walnut and leather steering wheel for my 75. I try to keep a close eye on the forum in case one comes up. Rather than make a donation on my behalf just promise me that if you ever get hold of one..give me first refusal on it! Then I will make a donation to the forum myself John
