You are so so sensitive when you make a mistake.

24 volts for anyone to use on their car is wrong and will damage their car,
.

You really do have to be careful of what advice you give on the forum and check it twice before you give it. Lots of people will take you at your word and ruin their cars.
I was not being picky just trying to give the correct info.

You must, surely, agree with that. There are lots of amateurs on here that need guiding properly.
We all say things we don't mean, me included, but I'll always listen and take note of something said by someone who knows better than I do.

I want to make this absolutely clear to you, I was NOT being picky or directing anything against you and I NEVER EVER will.

Just more confusion. Read with care. Lol

In line means 'one after the other'

In parallel means 'side by side'..

Chris,

I'm afraid that you've used the wrong term here ("in line"), and that is all Colvert and Harry are trying to tell you.

Connecting a good battery across a suspect vehicle battery to Jump start an engine is not connecting it "in line". The two batteries in this situation are connected "in parallel" (I'm sure that you know this from the course you did).

We know what you were trying to say, but others might not so it's best not to say "in line" when refering to jump starting.

Simon.
