Agreed. As I said in post 7.

Poor connection in the gear selector region that seems to be affected by heat too.

Needs a good coat of looking at.---

I would look at ecu, if it starts in neutral not park, or vise versa, I would assume injectors & fuel pump would be ok along with crank sensor.

Will have a check but think the Ecu may be at fault, because the hear selector must be working as it is reading the correct signal on the dash which it gets from the gear selector.

Marina Brian has remapped it and had a quick check over it about 4 weeks ago. Might ask him to look at it again.

I have not read the whole thread, but if it will only start in one position, it could be owing to a badly adjusted gear selector cable.
That is very easy to rectify!.
