Mine looked that way that's why I got a Syringe and drew some out to check. When put in a clean glass it was a nice clear 'Pink' colour! I was quite frankly pleasantly surprised..

Anyway, I still drew out about 750mls and replaced with fresh... At least now I know it's good.

This is the Syringe I used - 50p from the local Doctor's office:



The OAT I used:



And while I'm at it I use this stuff in the Window Channels to keep them nice and smooth in operation as they can get a bit sticky over the years, and inside where the key goes on the Doors and Boot - works for me!



And I use this on a lot of the moving parts, like the Hinges/Locks/Cables/Throttle Body/Bonnet Link & Catches....

I dont think the header tanks helps with the colour of the coolant being brown with age. Best way is to take some out as above.

5 litres OAT £10.12 delivered from ECP with our discount, the cheapest out there I think.
