Thwaites MOT & Service Centre have stated that they will give it a go but don't believe it will work at all.
also they recon it will take up to 1.5 hours at £70 ph. I'd rather sell it as a complete kit to someone who has a Xpart center near them that actually knows what they are doing.

Finally I have found a consident and competant person to do the job.
Tomorrow at 14:30 I'll be having my new IPK fitted by Ralph @ Executive Motoring Services at Upchurch in Kent. thet are frequent posters on here. It's a 110 Mile round trip but after speaking to Ralph he is confident it is a simple enough job. He will also be switching on the Speed Locking and Lasy Lock at the same time for no extra charge.

Speed locking is where the doors auto lock at 5mph
Lazy locking is where the windows auto shut when the doors are locked with the key. Also I'll switch on Lazy venting. - Allows you to open all windows with the drivers key for hot days.

I requested my 75 to be Lazy Lock & Lazy Vent enabled at it's last service, but the dealer said it wasn't possible on all cars (mine being one), instead I ended up with the added xtra of "See you home" number plate lights
Is this true, or is it a lack of T4 knowledge again? |

Lack of T4 knowledge.
Not looking on correct page and maybe not having correct discs? Always see all options even when not fitted, Traction Control for example. Unless for some unexplained reason your Car is different to most? as I note not the Basic Finish model. |

Happy Happy Happy
I'm A Happy chappy now.
My new instrument pack was installed in about 10 mins by the great chaps at Executive Motoring Services. Thanks Ralph and the rest of the guys. The process was simple and they seem to know exactly what they are doing. You even get to have a look at a SV-R while they are working on the car. They even know now how to turn on the Lazt Vent, Lazy Lock and Speed Lock So I have it all now. The traffic master system I purchaed from LES @ SMC also works perfectly as it gave me a few messages on the way home. I highly recomend SMC for parts and EMS for anything to do with a T4 and as EMS are near a load of major motorways they are not far from anyone in the south east. As for the instrument pack. I can fully confirm that a Diesel instrument pack can be fitted into a Petrol car with no side affects. The dial covers need to be swapped but thats about it. The T4 does not care about what type if pack it is pairing to the car. All revs and speed show up correctly and everything works.
