Chech the rear panel fit, as others have said it looks a bit suspect, then all the other v8 items, heater not warming up, sloppy diff, spark plug threads iffy, condition of rear discs as they are expensive.

After that, just look over it as you would a normal zt.

if all else fails I can try and put the engine in my ZS
If i had the money i would buy it, but i would put the old school rover V8 into it.
just something i would love to do, oh and paint it a brighter colour

you get the idea,

I would just add that only buy it if you have at least another £2,000 to spend on it, as it looks like a money pit to me and I would have thought that you'd have learnt your lesson buying those!

Not sure why, as to get a Rover V8 up to even the standard output of the 4.6, would cost a fortune!

Just remember that the highest standard output of a Rover V8 was that of the SD1 Vitesse EFI and even that was only 190 bhp, or the same as a 190!

Depends on how much money you wan to throw at it. Misfire has been present on this car and not been sorted before sale. Rear shock needs replacing etc.

If you don't have time to do it yourself and have it looked at, might as well buy a sorted one for a bit more.

I feel you can easily spend another £3k to get all the issues sorted including labour.

Let me put it this way. I already have one and would love a second one but this wouldn't be the one I'd go for

Would have to agree Herman!

As for £5,000, you can find a nice car with low miles and no issues!

I just think it would look fantastic under the bonnet, yes power wise it would not be as good unless you spent a fair bit on mods, but to me old school rules
