Thought the roads were bad round our way but I've a 40mm drop on the front and only found a monster of a speed bump in a private sports centre car park that's caught me. Although I must say, I've been very gingerly approaching them all!

Had a similar issue on my 2.5 Contemporary over local speed bumps (<20 mph) and I too thought it was the undertray fastenings. Car then passed MOT and still scraped so thought I'd have a closer look - O/S rear spring broken in TWO places, N/S rear in one - so much for MOT tester; other than the scraping it seemed to drive OK (with just me and better half in it??).
If you are still scratching your head suggest you thoroughly check those springs.
