My Tourer has the Sat NAv/TV set up and the radio reception has never been up to much. Gets Radio 2 fine but other stations not very good.

If you have the sat nav/tv set up you might consider replacing the radio tuner (under floor in the load area) with a BMW unit which I understand gives a lot better performance.

Cost about £200 2nd hand on E Bay and should be an unplug old and plug in new job.

Aerial is in rear offside window - car does not have satnav.

Radio has CD413X on front and is radio/cd player + 6cd autochanger in luggage compartment
