Just to finish up this thread.
Many, many thanks to Andy (Trikey). That stuff worked a treat (main component Orange peel oil - Orange Terpenes). Smells gorgeous as well. Tried some white spirit and it worked as well. But aroma was a bit more heady. Where's the "peace man" smilie? Technique that worked with a bit of elbow grease was to soak well then, using a wetted kitchen towel with the solvent on, rub the offending welded on sticky foam until removed. Think these could have been used as door hinges. Cheers to all for pointers. |

Tardis did it for me. Spray it on. Leave it while you make a cuppa. Come back and scrape the gunge off with a credit / debit / membership card. Wipe. Once more for the last little bits. No more than 15 minutes each.
