Finally got around to fitting my Crofts door finishers, that I have had here since May 2013!
Also put the 2.5 litre torpedo door badges on as well. My 2003 Tourer is getting bling-ified!

Checked all my fluids, my coolant is holding steady at the max mark now
Used some of the waterless wash for the 1st time and was pleasantly surprised how good it is. Now it's raining though

Mrs K came to me yesterday saying the engine on Clarabelle sounded funny (CDT saloon auto) and sure enough the alternator was covered in power steering fluid....DAMN.
Left it in the garage overnight knowing that Tom (Holland314) had supplied me with a PS pump a couple of months ago and it was sat on the shelf. Low and behold overnight she had lost control of herself and a large puddle of fluids on the floor in the garage this morning, but enough about the missus. After a little Q&A on here and a bit of Rave I set about changing the pump (first time) via removing the hydromount metalwork and 4 hours and 1 jubilee clip later (slightly different fitting on the front of the pump) she sounds lovely, steers perfectly and can hold oil. The only real panic was running the steering left to right about 50 times with it sounding like a bag of nails top get all of the air out (I was expecting 3-4 turns to do it) and having visions of taking the whole lot off again... Thanks to all that helped (Tom, Trikey...)

Took the ZT to the MG/Triumph Show and Spares Day at Stoneleigh near Coventry. First real run since it had an engine transplant, and covered 105 miles on just under 1/4 of a tank, brimmed, so pretty pleased.
Bought a couple of items for my Triumph 2500TC, but the best purchase was a Monogram Brochure - hadn't seen one before! A number of ZTs in the MG parking shed, but none with a Club sticker to my knowledge. Where were you all - it was a great day. |

Went to get two tyres fitted to the fronts on the ZT. Imagine the look of delight on my face when the fitter rolled one of the alloys in to show me the crack on the inside rim........
Oh well, good job I have the refurbs from Shiner, just means they will get fitted a bit sooner. |

Fitted the H-K Tweeters this arvie... A definite improvement in fidelity.
Will fit the Speakers when I have some spare retainers, (just in case) and when it's warmer so hopefully the retainers will be a little more pliable and less prone to breaking...
