John, you should of said. I only live 5 min away from Dysart, Kirkcaldy. Hopefully catch you another time. Cracking pics as always. Hope you thoroughly enjoyed your stay. Did you walk along the Fife Coastal Path to West Whymes and Dysart?

Did you see the seal pups on the rocks? There's quite a few of them there on the West Wymes walk.

Had a run down to Barrow in Furness last week, visited Roa Island to have a look across to Peel Island,

On the way over, came across this abandoned Fishing vessel laying in shallow water beside the main causeway road, looking in a very sorry state, couldn't resist a quick shot of what must have been a very fine vessel in it's heyday.

Note the windsurfer to the rear of the Vessel.

Best Regards.

John.

Driving past these two locations earlier this evening on my way home, couldn't resist taking these shots.

Not a lot of deep cloud around which I particularly prefer for extra effect, nevertheless the golden colour of the sky & reflection on the wet sand particularly in the first shot really made it worthwhile to capture.

The first one taken from the North shore at Whitehaven, the second taken a few miles up the coast from the Harbour in the Village of Harrington, both looking out over the Solway Firth with the Hills of SW Scotland in the lower right corner.

Best Regards.

John.

Driving home from Bowness on Windermere last Evening, spotted these late evening sun drenched clouds,in the valley of St John's in the Vale Nr Keswick, looked like golden dancers across the Evening Sky,had to have a shot, pulled into a lay-by & took this from the car, would have been a shame to have missed it.

Best Regards.

John.

Took a quick shot of this sunset from the car, pulled in on the top of Chestnut Hill before you drop down into Keswick.

The light was fading fast, but couldn't resist this silhouette shot with the cloud effect in the valley ahead, note the small area of reflection coming off Bassenthwaite Lake in the middle distance.

Best Regards.

John.
