So do I, spent the last couple of hours washing and claying it, will start polishing tomorrow

but results so far





So plan is to start polishing red tomorrow, and then a wax and final clean on Friday, ready for the weekend

Got back from Turbo Dave, and have new drop links, tracking, and exhaust rubbers replaced, as well as the exhaust TIG welded at one of the joints, were the previous weld had cracked and had some paintwork done by the body shop across the way from Dave's, and driven it back, and very happy with the car, just a little bit of cleaning to do, and then it will be ready for Saturday and Sunday

So next couple of day are going to be busy washing, claying, polishing, waxing etc, and putting on my new wheels

Next month will get the dents I have removed, and then car will be fully done, after six months hard and in most cases dirty work

I think that in the long run, it has all been worth it

PS whilst at Turbo Dave's he was doing a nice Silver 54 Plate MGZT CDTI clutch, not sure if it is anybody on here, as no club sticker in windows, but looked very nice

May have been Ady's old car, not sure if it was sold locally.

My initial thoughts were that is was Ady's car, and did not know he had sold it, the car was from the Sunderland/Peterlee Area, which then got me thinking it was not Ady's, as he lives more towards the Consett area

he sold it last year Stu, and had a couple of non Rover/MG cars , then bought MG Stephen's ZT cdt auto.

Car finished I think for the time being, and cleaned ready for the journey tomorrow morning down to Longbridge









Lets just hope that it is worth the 6 months of hard graft getting it ready for this weekend, still more work to do, but hopefully good enough for this weekend

Looking forward to this weekend, to meet up with friends old and new
