Another great day today, attended by around 15 members, and the sun shone all day although it was chilly.

Jobs tackled included powerfold mirrors, bonnet release unjamming and later under bonnet box mod, plenum clearing, upgrade of door speakers, various T4 sessions with clerance of fault codes, additional features on cars enabled and disabled as requested, FBH testing and advice, immobiliser strip down and repair. and there must be others i have forgotten as once the day gets going there are cars all being worked on at the same time and it is hard to capture everything on film

I was asked about the catering contributions and can tell you that i was £19 short but expected to be as not all members turned up, and am very happy with that outcome so thanks to all of you who put in my home made " honesty box "

Swmbo did a great job again with bacon sandwiches, hot pork baps, cakes and tea /coffee, and is now asleep wondering where her day went, but i know she also enjoyed herself too.

Thanks to all those who came and got their hands dirty, it really was another fabulous meet, pictures of the day below:

Thats not where an FBH goes

Yes as said, one of the best meets, a bit of heat would be better, but hey ho,
Thanks to Rob for the venue and the catering.
And also to pass on the message about if things go wrong, especially if you let me work on it.. my brother gets really annoyed putting my mistakes right...

David is The_Monk.

I'm Duncan, lowedb.

One of us is old, grey and large. The other is none of those.

I guess I should be happy that I've been mixed up with someone younger, smaller, and less grey than myself!

Guess David might be less impressed.

Seriously, I get confused and can only remember forum names half the time. Don't worry about the mix up, but wanted to sort it out in case the confusion widens.

Many thanks to everyone today. Great meet. Got my mirror working!

A huge thanks to Rob and family who all put at least a full days work into running this event.

Thanks to Paul for making up the other half of the loom that I left at home, after realising I'd left all of it in Bicester, about 1 hour too late this morning.

Good to see and chat to everyone who attended today. Hope everyone was pleased with the jobs done. I know I was.

Ben

Thanks Trebor for the great food and teas.
Thanks to Trebor, Lyndon and Mick, I can see the engine for the first time ever, after you fixed the bonnet release system, and cleared the plenum
Monk, thank you for the clearing the faults an enhancing the car with the extra features.

Ben.
