Today Zed went shopping. He wanted to find a green jersey

to replace the one that got lost a few months ago.

He tried this one on and said "Does my bum look big in this?"

I said it was ok, so he bought it. He is very pleased with all the letters on it, including "M", "G", "Z" and "T".

Then, six shops later on...

Today Zed visited the Jersey War Tunnels which is a museum commemorating what happened to the people of Jersey when the island was occupied by the German army during WW2.

Here is Zed with an old car that they left behind. Zed agrees that quality of the ride on German cars is not as good as on a british-made classic. (He also missed the 'Please do not touch' sign, but the attendant didn't mind.)

Later on, Zed enjoyed a special Jersey cream tea. As you can see he was a bit naughty because he was pointing out which cake he wanted to eat, before he had finished his sandwich - but then so was I !

Zed has developed a rather expensive habit.

Zed met some Jersey cows, but these particular ones don't actually produce any milk.

When Zed had a ride he shouted "Gee-up", but nothing happened. I had to explain to him that this works for horses but not for cows.

Zed said "Before I press the trigger, does that say diesel or petrol?".

Zed has been complaining all week about the hard ride of the fiesta and wondered if adjusting the tyre pressures would make it feel more like a rover. It didn't!

Zed saw these cars all kitted out for a wedding, but he refused to pose for a photo with them because he prefers British classics, and anyway he does not speak French.

Zed is now back in England after his holiday in Jersey. Shopping wasn't the only thing he brought back. (Another mouth to feed!

After a very busy few weeks, Zed was very pleased when I told him that the average number of views of his thread has been more than 50 every day. He wants to thank everyone for their interest in his travels.

As the end of October approaches he would normally be moving on to his next destination, but I have been asked to look after him during November too. This is fine with me (and also with Zed) and although I am back at work after the holidays, there might be some Exciting Things to report at the weekends.

Zed also plans to make a guest appearance at the Essex meet at the Halfway House pub near Brentwood on 17th November.

In the mean time, Zed will be glad of the rest. Here he is relaxing with the crossword.
