This is the Thread which details the issue:

Although now, the problem is "Hesitation" as you drive the Car and if you take your foot off the Throttle and let the Car roll, it feels "Bouncy" from the Engine, as though the Engine is not running smoothly. When you pull away in 1st gear there is a Flat spot in the Throttle sometimes and in second when you pull away ( While Moving not from standstill) the car will Kangaroo Hop

After wanting a R75 for so many years...........I kind of feel very cheated at the moment

John Dot Com - Thanks - I shall bear it in mind. I would have thought though, if the ECU was at fault, the problem would have been extensive and perhaps other faults would be evident?

Everytime work is done, the Car seems fine for a Week and then back to square one

One of the Problems of fixing things listed on T4 is you do not know when fault was logged,
It should be cleared on Repair/Service but isn't generally.
Best way, have History cleared drive some distance then check.
A lot of faults are not logged on T4, Maff sensors for one!
If ECU is faulty you would generally get indications etc. but it would not be the first time they have been replaced without need and they are over £1000 and quite often ECU doctor can now sort.

That price interests me as I was wondering how the prices there compare to here. We paid $24,000 for our 2005 2.5 Conn, which is approx 8,300 pounds. At the time it had done 17,000 kilometers (about 10,000 miles). How would that compare? Our other 75, a 2000 comfort cost equivalent to 4,000 pounds and had done equivalent to 50,000 miles.

The lovely Shiny Blue 2001 Connoisseur in my SIG cost £2,995:00 with 82,000 Miles on the clock

It is 99% Mint, just needs some doorstep trim holders and a doorstep trim piece for passenger rear. There are a couple of marks inside and we noticed under the drivers backrest, a very small cut in the Leather

Everything works, except the Engine ( Laughs insanely )
