That's fine but not everyone will see those kind of jokes in the same light, that's all I'm saying

Now that is a debatable point!

On a slight tangent I was over at Longbridge today. A lot has gone and it feels a bit strange round there now.

As a Yorkshireman let me say:

If thas going to do owr for nowt do it for thisen.

A Yorkshireman is a Scotsman stripped of his generosity.

You can always tell a Yorkshireman, but not a lot.

You don't have to ask a man if he's a Yorkshireman - he'll jolly soon tell you.

There are others.

Taking the mick out of each other or the towns, counties, countries we live in is totally acceptable. Overtly racist, sexist, religionist comments and jokes can cause offence and as such are not allowed. Also dirty jokes are not allowed and will always be removed. None of this type of moderating is done in a heavy handed way as that can also offend, our community is well above that anyway.
Just keep in mind that there is no malice in this type of banter, keep a sense of humour and proportion we are all grown ups, well most of you lot are, I'm definitely not. (insert poking out tongue smiley here).

I am from Lancashire.........Where Men are Men and sheep are frightened.....

I moved to the Midlands in 2001 and remember, quite fondly, my Father in Law flicking the Light switch on and off and telling me it was Electricity......lol .........

Its a shame that not everybody can take this banter lightehearted
