I am off for a week [2nd week in nov] i wouldn't even mind staying over a night to get the works done .

I have just spent a whack of dough on my pride and joy and dont want some plonker mucking up the FLYERMOBILE .

So with this in mind lets be having your recommendations so i can contact the relevent bods , come on troops i want names names names.
Why would you risk driving it such a distance when the brakes are gubbed?

Gordon Motors on Eastwoodmains Road are very good. Peter has worked on my cars for the last 4 years and I trust him 100%. He drops the car off when the job is done. Sends you the bill about a week later and doesn't hassle you for payment (I forgot once then realised about 3 weeks later, he just laughed and said his wife would have picked it up at some point). A true gent.

It'll save a perilous journey down to England.

Cheers

brakes aint dangerous , in fact they are fine but ive recieved advisories on the rears and handbrake and the disks and drums are all originals so i would prefer to have the lot done .

I'm a fairly regular visitor to the north east of england in any case but thanks for the pointer anyway .
I also need an ABS sensor replacing and possible cooling fan work done.
