Infact the car sold for £2200 to a clu member but mine wasn't the firefox advert & I.m not pulling a 'fast one'! I paid the full wack for the badge!!! unlike some who just wait around & let others invest!

Not sure if you're implying I'm waiting for others to do the ground work, I have no intention of changing my mk1 for a premium bumper. The eBay listing was so expensive that regardless who's it was they were seemingly cashing in in the work done by others, but it's my opinion thats why I asked, as the OP, is it a fair ask?

Well as I've bought & fitted premium bumpers before withot any 'club' parts & also sold one at £650 I feel it was up to me what I asked for.
On this occasion this bumper was one I purchased back in 2009 the surround was from someone other than Sean although I have supported him by being one of the first to order one & the badge was as I said mine from my first trial order.
As you seem uninterested in supporting this particular aspect of the club it intriques my what qualifies you to comment or indeed talk of people cashing in on a project!

Unfortunately for some reason eBay bashing is a popular sport on these forums

(though genuine grievances in that respect are ignored . . .)

Whoever it is better remove the picture of my car from the listing
Report the listing to ebay, they'll soon remove it.

I'm qualified to comment on anything I feel fit on this forum, it's the beauty of living in a free country!

As for not supporting this aspect of the club, clearly I am supporting the people who's hard work made your apparent "cashing in" attempt possible!

I posed a question and expressed my view on it, that's what we do here.

Premium Bumper with new hex badge on eBay

It is of course an oct badge rather than hex, but hey, I bought one too. What I'd really like to know is where I can actually buy the MG7 bits to fit it on, without having to rely on an endlessly slow boat from China which may have foundered for all I know.
