Unfortunately my clutch master cylinder has just gone west, does anyone know of suitable alternative clutch master cylinders that will not break the bank? I have seen some references to a BMW replacement part, is it a straight replacement or is some fettling required and does anyone hve a part number? Many thanks

Replaced mine (CMC) this week as i'm fed up topping up every couple of months. Bought A LUK cmc from buypartsby for £108 delivered. I managed to part the coupling by putting a hand in underneath and using my nails to pull the bottom and a screwdiver to pull back the top. The one thing I would advise is to tape the yellow protective cover over the male fitting as it falls off constantly when trying to route it back in. Some lube on the pipework will also help it slide through the grommets. Now off to A&E to have my dressings changed, look like i've ben attacked by a cat.

I was just about to say, don't replace with the plastic version if you can avoid it - I've had a few returned at days old already leaking. I've since sold around twice as many metal versions with no issues.
I carry them in stock and ready to ship the same-day if ordered before 4PM.

I just saw the title and then posts regarding the plastic Master, and was hoping to save someone the trouble all over again!
