Smell of burning?

The radiator fan operates normally I suppose? Motors that are fouled or about to lose their brushes will emit a typical burning smell.

Doesn't sound like this with your description though.

I know only about this because of a colleague who always said about the smell then ended up in hospital with this diagnosis,
he was working perfectly normally etc.
The consultants at Barts said that this was a symptom of the condition, and did some further research.

thats frightening .. i can smell burning rubber all the time . its like im at a race track .. no wonder i keep changing my mind about the car true though i do smell rubber burning
