If you want to get your wipers vertical, just put the wipers on, and when they get to the desired position, simply turn the key off......

I tell you what Carlos - you must have been very lucky then. When I tried to take mine off, it took two nuts, a wiggle, a pull, a heave, a mallet, a can (almost) of penetrating oil, and eventually - EVENTUALLY they came off!

Pulling the wiper fuse at the appropriate moment may stop them auto parking.

Isn't this a T4 option? (turn off auto-park)

Yes it is and short of pulling the power is the only choice.
Personally I would just remove them

Mike's right, you know! Even went down to my car to check! Thought I was on for a tenner there, as I'd always done this on previous cars even with auto park, when I took them through a car wash. Just shows I've not put the 75 through one yet, nor do I ever intend to........

But back to the initial problem, I didn't think the wipers when parked normally caused any problem in getting to the plenum drain, despite what the nice Mr Haynes says, as you don't take off the whole panel.

Mike is replacing all the clips as they have discoloured.
