Don't be too suspicious and lose out on a great opportunity.

I was once offered a ticket to Tina Turner's private party in London by my builder claiming that his son was doing all the sound and lighting. I thought he was pulling my leg and told him to do something a bit rude.

Too weeks later, I looked in a magazine and there was his son's name in relation to the party.

I asked the builder and he said no, he was serious, his son was given five tickets and I could have met Tina and other celebs.

Reminds me of 1967, took a wrong turn on country road and got sort of lost, time was getting on and pubs closed much earlier then so stopped for a pint at a country inn, party in full swing it seemed, all 'horsey' types - their horse running in Grand National next day urging me to back him as they would.

Not being a betting man ignored advice and forgot all about it, until results announced next day, should have listened it won at huge odds
