The replicas go green very quickly in scrapyards. I threw one in the bin this morning. It wouldn't clean up with anything.

I have a genuine one, the sides of the vanes are pitted, I got it used for peanuts so not too fussed.

Hello Bill

A full chrome grille has been listed on Ebay, but I am not sure if an original grille.

Please excuse my ignorance(again),but what is a full crome grill? I don't think I've seen a 75 without a crome grill. Is it that these are metal whereas I think mine is plastic?

The silver fins, as well as the frame are all chromed, not just silver plastic.

There is a thread on here.... somewhere, where a member made his own chrome grille..... Darned if I can find it at the moment.. (too late in the night, and turning in). but they used a chrome strip to cover the existing grey plastic vanes. The result was visually quite good IMO
