Always seems to me the specified torque is far too low 33 lbf it says in my haynes, and yet a drop link nut gets soecified to 44lbf.
I always do mine up to 44lbf. 33lbf always feels as if its only just nipped up. |

Went to undo my pinch bolt today and it sheared off! Looks like it has been stretched when previously tightened, so perhaps we should be careful just how tight we make them.

If the pin is not tight at 50lb/ft then a new hub carrirer is required due to worn hole
