I took advice from my brother who is an industrial machine maintenance fitter , and he says this is common practice . The quoted figure works on new parts but once they are aged or have been stripped a couple of times or suffered wear and distortion, they need a little more to fit tightly .

Went to undo my pinch bolt today and it sheared off! Looks like it has been stretched when previously tightened, so perhaps we should be careful just how tight we make them.

If the pin is not tight at 50lb/ft then a new hub carrirer is required due to worn hole

Newbies do now!!
1. Plenum drains..all 3 or 4 year dependent
2. Cooling fan..All speeds functioning
3. Bonnet cable divider block
