I'd say £2,500 is a nice to start a discussion but not realistic even when taking the mileage into account
Obviously, I probably worded my comment poorly .

I wouldn't think however that the dealer paid the original asking price :p

Probably he didn't which may give room to get it down a bit

Apart from the obvious limitations in the boot with regards to the LPG fitting, the boom box can be removed and the filler cap painted to be less visible.

The actual mileage is closer to 135K but the engine will go for miles, specially on a clean fuel like LPG. Don't think the valve seats are a problem on these engines.

Give the dealer his due and anything around £4,500 - £4,650 would be a good price

Guys; are these V8s chain driven cams or belts (or is it even more simplistic than this)

I quite like the colour and think I might have a look (I am happy it does not have a sunroof and all I am after is an LPG V8 Auto so suits me)

In terms of the price in the end I guess it is worth what someone is willing to pay!

Probably, but service schedule says 150K to replace.

Maybe a bargaining tool as the car has done 135K

Dave I traded this paticular car in to oldcott motors along with a vxr8 for a dodge challenger,I've owned umpteen zt v8's and 75v8's this car is faultless and has been ran on LPG since new with all receipts to prove the stereo was also updated since brand new and arranged by the dealer this wasn't to have a boomy stereo but a proper sound system like no other ,even Harmon kardon doesn't come close it also has frozen cold air con like no other v8 I've owned and totally bone dry again like no other v8 I've owned
Oldcott paid 4k for the car it's worth That all day long
I have to laugh at the jokers telling you to pay 2.5 k for it
What an insult that would be
