Most normal people would see the value in this but like I said he is tight, to the extent that he was overcharged 89p for some cheese at saninsbury's, so rather than waiting a week he got back in his car & drove a round trip of 18 miles to Truro, which mean't he lost even more money in fuel costs.

Sorry, Dave, it wasn't a dig at you, and I've had to read it again to see any spelling - it's just that when it shows them in good light, such as when they're spending money "wisely", like this, it seems to be the Government, but if it's the other way, ie if money's either coming back, or not being spent, it's TAXPAYERS' money that's being saved...................
