It's a shame you mention this now and not two or three weeks ago. I know quite a few people studying multimedia/web design at university who would love a live project to do for their dissertations. As long as the project is big enough to qualify then the client would essentially get a free website designed and built - as long as hosting and domains were in place. Unfortunately everybody will now have final year projects finalised but it in the future it may be worth contacting your local university and seeing what can happen...

Not sure I'd want the possibility of some clever student type hiding malicious code in my website....

I get the picture - you bung the student fifty notes to include the malicious code and then charge me £60 -£80 an hour to sort it out - no wonder you can afford enough diesel to do 50K a year in your car . . .

Its all about finding the right student obviously, best bet would be to contact tutors or subject area leaders and they would recommend somebody who's not going to scam you! Were not all that bad
