Tweeters fitted.
I've now fitted the rear tweeters
The door trim includes the mounting clip, so the tweeters simply clipped into place. The door speaker has a 2nd connector on the back for running a cable to the tweeter, but since I didn't have the OEM cable I simply spliced into the door speaker cable (soldered joints of course). Incidentally, according to the OEM wiring the capacitor on the tweeter connects to the orange/black wire, the remaining tweeter terminal connects to the green/black wire. Radio 2 never sounded so good! |
