I ran motorbikes for nearly twenty years. Passed my bike test in 1980 on a Honda CB100, car test 1998 in, I think, a Corsa. Passed my train driving examination in 1984 driving a BR Class 27 locomotive hauling a passenger train between Edinburgh and Dundee!

I didn't pass my test in it, but the first car I ever drove was a Mk1 Rover 820E.

Default I..

I passed in a 1983 Datsun Sunny saloon, it would have been a Hyundai Pony but, a few weeks before my test he had a learner that smashed it up. I learned mostly in the Sunny and passed first time. My examiner had a nervous problem, he kept shaking his head all the time, I thought it was me until we stopped and he was still doing it...
