Hi Andy.
Personally I can not see how a side snubber pad is going to allow vibration go through the car in a forward or reverse situation, as above it is there to protect the inner rubber mount and to stop metal to metal, I could be wrong though? Anyways a few photo's below so you know how it all looks cheers Arctic. 1 2 3 with snubber fitted 4 5 Snubber set to one side. 6 These are the lower engine mount that can and have been fitted to our diesel cars, personally I prefer the original mount with the letter T then the poly bush one which is yellow, the other two are aftermarket ones which are sold. Lower engine mount 7

They are out of stock still, so they haven't adjusted their stock lists. Money refunded. Again!

No time like the present - I just ventured down to the shed, and have found these - I have some NOS snubbers in bags with part number KKD100671, that according to Rimmers site should be fit all the 75/ZT manual gearbox mounts from all engines. I think I bought these at an autojumble many years ago, but I can tell you they do not fit the diesel gearbox mount - the snubbers are too small, and the hole in the middle is the wrong shape.
The other two used pairs are from CDT manual gearbox mounts, and are in reasonable condition - I may be up for offers on one pair but I would like to keep one pair as a spare for my own car. Cheers Pete |
