That would be great Andrew, best of luck in Sunny Lincolnshire.

Are you moving there permanantly or going back to Perth after training ?

Do you have to do manoeuvres at this level (camouflage gear, face paint and exercises in the woods)?

If you do, and a couple walk past with a big placid dog, and a small mental one that will run up to you and head butt you in the crotch, that'll be us!

(we live four miles from Cranwell and walk the dogs there)

Cheers

Best of luck.

Some of the members from .org meet down at Peterborough one Sunday every month if you fancy going to a MG/Rover meet, I know they would welcome a new face.

I don't think I'll be back to Perth again. The only possible RAF-related jobs north of the border are either at the sole remaining airbase (Lossiemouth) or one of the Careers Offices. Nothing for me to do in Perth.

Yes, there are ample opportunities for us engineers to put on facepaint and pretend to be soldiers. It's really more suited to the Regiment Gents, though.

Do you get a choice then?

I'll keep an eye out for you!

That is sad that, having to move to further your career, hope you can manage another Hawes meet before you make your move.

You will be missed up here Andrew.
