6 weeks is nothing.

Id pump the tyres up with extra pressure, disconnect the battery, and leave the handbrake off so the shoes dont stick to the drums.

As its so short, nothing else crosses my mind.

The car is left outside on a driveway.

If you disconnect the battery you will have NO alarm.

And as a result no insurance either.---

Handbrake off----Yes, providing the drive is flat or the car is not able to roll by some other method of braking. ( It's an Auto box. )

Personally i wouldn't bother doing anything. 6 weeks is nothing to leave a car. I leave mine that long (and longer) and have no 'regime' just lock up and leave.
