I have just (3 weeks ago) gone up from 42" to 49" anything bigger would be
no good for decent viewing. I went by measurements from various websites showing optimal viewing size, Ken. |

I recently upsized to a 49". It didn't look much different as our old 40" had a huge bezel round the screen

Here is a story for all of the smart TV owners
How to stop your smart TV from spying on you lol I bought one from one of the mods who has a factory making them and brought it out to East Africa in the luggage. It uses less power than a lightbulb and runs off the solar. https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.w...settlement/amp Last edited by Gate Keeper; 5th December 2017 at 14:14.. |

Getting a big TV is great as long as you can get a decent picture on it , Virgin media is rubbish with a lot of its channels , very pixilated , apparently it's down to "compression rates" ?

We have a 60" Samsung. The thing is a marvel, would never go back to a smaller screen, 50" is like a portable size TV to us now....
