thats a rotary and the pads with it will be very poor. bestbuy some meguiars or 3m pads. I'd practice on some scrap panels first thought to learn to control it. which polish do you have?

I would also advise getting a better backing plate to allow better control of the machine, the standard backing plate will get the pads hopping and jumping over the panel in no time.

the 3m foam backing plate is very good. allows better control over curves. see here or if you have a brown brothers local they should stock them as well. http://www.cartersconsumables.co.uk/...-c-94_231.html

I like the 3M for larger pads and the gloss-it for smaller pads.

paul have you tried the gloss it polishes? I just cant get on with them at all. the evolution cut i think was supposed to be the solution to sticky paint but it just clogs worse than menz does in the cold.

yeah, I've tried the extreme and evolution cut - needed finishing down quite a lot - would have been better off sticking to powergloss and then refining with final finish..

Needless to say I sold them on!
