Thats fine, but its not a wash. ONR allows you to actually wash off proper dirt that you cant possibly remove with a QD without heavy scratching. You can then use ONR in stronger concentrations as a QD if you like. In fact i have a QD mix made up in a demon shine spray bottle in my glove box. Its much much slicker than demon shine.

Not really, the idea is to prevent continuous flowing water. A hosepipe could output as much has 10 watering cans in a minute. The ban is designed to prevent waste.
People will moan about leaks not being fixed by the water companies, but the current water companies have inherited the old leaking infrastructure from the old nationalised waterboards. The current companies are private firms remember, so if you want the leaks fixed, you pay more for your water.

Easiest answer is to store rain water The you can run a hose from that. The ban is specific to mains water supply.

Not sure id want to use rain water. Its full of particulates that might scratch and if left standing it would be teaming with Algae, which would grow in the recesses of the car, especially in the furry trims at the bottom of the windows, turning them green.

Don't you just sick of hearing this same old excuse....... A bit like, "he/she murdered and tortured 10 people because his/her mother/father shouted at them"........ Bow-locks! You sure you're not a politician, or work for the railways, or a water company.... I tell you what, the next time you fail an MOT because there were too many things wrong with it, but still keep using it and get a fine, just tell the Judge that it's not your fault, say it's Joe Bloggs fault who had it before me and didn't maintain it - It's not my fault, I inherited it!!!

Sorry but that IS unfair. I do work for a water company actually, but thats why i know. If you think its so simple what do you suggest? My company has borrowed 30x its annual pre-tax profit to fix leaks and clean up the beaches as required by the regulator, the price it charges are set by the regulator so it has little room for maneuver.. No one is getting rich off of it.
So its ok to blame the nationalised BL for Rovers image and problems, but not a water companies? Basically that like blaming Sky, tiscali, Talktalk etc for slow internet connections when it actually the fault of the old BT infrastructure.
