And for just a few quid more than the tenner Hogweed described, you can buy one of these plug & play leads already soldered: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/174768878...3ABFBMpI-x8ftf

Bought a couple myself after getting fed-up with questionable KKL leads.

Regards

ps. I have a T4 too but Toaf is my preferred diagnostic tool

Nice, hope you install it too

Don't know the seller, but as you know too well some KKL leads are questionable and his KKL work so for me it was an easy choice. I've got my own older RS323 serial cable but help local members here with working cables. (Actually big thanks to Stocktake who helped us avoid the very high international postage charges).

Keep well

Thanks very much for the info regarding this additional lead very helpful

My problem now is that I am unable to open the TOAF download as I do not have the correct app to open an .ex file so I shall have to have a fiddle about at the moment and see if something will work. Many thanks once again.

A pleasure to help someone who has manners and responds

I'm sure Hogweed will be back soon and advise as he dabbles in the dark arts of Windows

Keep well

Default It is the sunroof drains!

Well I got my car to my apartment in Mojacar. Firstly needed to have the front tyres replaced as an awful judder due to flat spots as the car had been sitting in an Alicante airport car parking facility for just over 27 months, so tyres done today all ok.

Checked the boot no water and all feels dry. Checked both side plenums and these both dry. This is a left hand drive car and the passenger front and rear carpets are soaking. I brought out some Halfords (white 16mm) and DMRGS (black with male and female ends) plastic connectors to connect the pipes and tried the dmrgs ones and they appeared to fit as Artic I think stated, the pipe from sunroof goes into the female end and the male ends just 'POPS' in as Artic also mentioned, and it did just pop in and I thought great, well this is where I now have a wee problem because the grommet to expel the water into the wheel arch going through the bodywork is perished so I now feel that 'Houston I have a problem'. Does someone know if I can obtain replacement grommets (I think that is what they are called) or how to effect a watertight repair from spray etc! And can they be fitted through the wheel arch or how to adapt something, maybe just attach a piece of garden hose pipe, just securing it I suppose. Hopefully the other 3 will be ok.

Although I have had is car for 10/11 years I have never had any water leak problems until now and I found out the reason why it happened now, well Spain has had quite a lot of rain the last few weeks plus a lot of Saharan red sand falling as well, consequently looking in the sunroof there is a lot of dried red sand and what has happened is that this sand nust have fallen a few times and in between rain showers the sand has clogged up the sunroof drain pipe clogging it up and it has hardened and when I checked it the pipe with the ptfe wrapped around 'a la rover' had pushed out of the other obviously just flooded the carpets. Also there is a metal bracket with 2 bolts holding the dash in place? just above where the drainpipe turns to go through the floor and this bracket is very rusty looking, could be water spraying back
from where the pipe was dislogded I suppose. The car has kept dry for 22 years so that is something to be pleased about.

Many thanks for any advise/suggestions and thanks for taking the time to read all this. Jim
