Ok, but since the sounder loom has a short loose wire isn't there any closer place to connect it ?

The instructions are the accessory version, and the bits you've bought are the factory fit items.

The difference is, that factory fit uses bit's of the loom already in place.

Have you checked to see if the factory wiring already exists ?

Pull the boot trim away, and you may find a ten way black multi pin connector curled up.
