I think theres a £50 cordless vac in Lidl, Which say its good on hard floors, not brilliant on carpets.

If you have a sun roof get a wet & dry hoover I still like using the henry, robust and gets the dirt out with great suction for hand held vac click the link below

re read this post. I'd not bother buying a battery hoover for the car if my household one would do the job. Wife has a Miele mains hoover (vacuum cleaner) with a small attachment for the car, no rotating brush but by god can it suck

I've got a Black and decker 12v ( pav 1205 model) car vac and it's absolutely brilliant. Really well made and has got quite a good suction considering it's only 12v and runs off the cigarette lighter. Well worth the 35 odd ££s in my view.

I've got a Vax Blade 24v - I find it fairly good, but I don't get that much muck in the car.


Still not as good as our mains Dyson though, but much more convenient.
