That's generally discussed where they make decisions in our Own Parliament/assembly buildings.

If the Welsh want recognition on the flag, then we need to widen the Seven river and charge a toll in both directions!

I think that Wales should most definately be on the Union Jack. I think the best place for the dragon would be right over the top of the rest of the Union Jack as it is now. I cannot see why it wasn't part of it before.

However. If you ask the average uneducated what is the English flag they'd most probably say the Union Jack, which is incorrect. If you asked the same person what the Welsh flag was they'd probably say the correct one with a rather splendid Dragon on it. I think the Welsh flag is better known as it has been separate.

IMHO.

What about the Cornish then?
They have their own flag. (Same as flag of St George but white cross with black background) Don't they have a claim to include theirs on our national flag? After all they are more of an island than Wales, they also have their own language and customs.
Then again, what about the largest county in England, Yorkshire. Let's set up our own regional assembly, and then we could end up with the Yorkshire rose on the flag too!
Where would it end?

Before long we'd end up with a flag looking like it had been bought from Laura Ashley!

What's so wrong with the way things are? Can't these meddle-some polititians find something better to do?

Obviously not.

Wales has its own Language and is in Fact the oldest Language in Europe.
All signs in our Country are in Welsh and English also (Welsh First of Course) so if
you see a Vehicle with Blue Lights and the Words "Heddu" all over it, that is a Police Car!!

A bit like this then, after having been cleaned up a bit!

Seeing that the current Union Jack (or flag for the politically correct) is made up from saints flags, St. George, St. Andrew and St. Patrick then why not use the flag of St David? (as St George flag but yellow cross on black background)

Should we not change the flags of the other parts to the Rose, the Thistle and the Shamrock?

...........or even the Leak as well?

The Flag of St. David Flown on St Davids Day:

The Welsh Flag of Course most Know, Flown all over Wales.

These Two Flags are for Prince Charles,
the One on the Right when he is in Wales.

On the Opening of the Welsh Government the Queen Agreed to The Queen's Royal Standard, Prince Charles Flag and the Welsh Flag to be Flown together the first time this has ever happened.
She bowed to this after evidently arguments in London of not Having any Union Flags on that Day.
