I don`t agree with burning pictures and I certainly don`t advocate physical violence but there are views expressed by both the BNP and UKIP that I do agree with. Namely, I am totally anti europe and would like to see the UK out and I would like a tighter control over immigration.
Only my opinion of course but I also do not vote for any of the main stream parties in elections. Being Cornish I vote Mebyon Kernow

Thats of course fine if unrealistic, but thats not what UKIP is about in reality. They want everyone to live in a religious state, where anyone but the wealthy is left to fend for themselves with nothing, but only in designated areas, well away from the 'nicer' areas of course as it might disturbed the peace.

UKIPs Nigel Farage recently approached a certain Sean Gabb to be a candidate for them after seeing a speech of his. If you would like to see what Mr Gabb would bring to UKIP and the UK, i suggest you read this:

http://www.seangabb.co.uk/flcomm/flc169.htm

To summarise this is one of his more choice statements (edited for offensive words):

I believe in legalising all drugs. I am not for decriminalising possession of small amounts of cannabis for personal use, or for diverting the enforcement budget to "education". I would make it no more illegal to buy a packet of heroin than it is now to buy a packet of tea; and I would not allow the authorities to spend a penny of our money on telling us whether and how to use it. I believe in repealing all the race relations and other hate crime laws. I would allow employers and landlords to qualify their advertisements with phrases like "nig***s and fag***s need not apply". I do not believe possession of child pornography should be a crime. I do not even believe it should be a crime to publish child pornography here that was made abroad by and with foreigners.

Lovely chap..

Not in the same context, i wasn't inviting a debate on the BNP. Was your post supposed to be a defense of UKIP or the BNP? It came across as either 'At least the BNP dont do THAT', or 'the BNP are lame for not doing that'

This statement alone makes me think Mr Gabb is just the sort of person who could be gainfully employed in a mine clearing capacity. Preferably in Africa.

Maybe my response to him makes me as bad as he is , but I hope that at least my own ethics/morals aren't actively offensive (as far as I know). Well except maybe to Audi Q7 and BMW X5 owners, who's cars I would confiscate and crush on sight given half the chance

My point in all this is that while UKIP has many reasonable well meaning grass roots supporters, the true core of the party is rotten and people dont really understand what they are voting for, much like how many BNP supporters would be oppressed by the party if they ever got in.

The notion of a strong independent UK might be nice, but what about the rest of it?
