Someone mentioned 225-50-17 tyres make a lot of difference.

I have gone back to my 15 inch wheels for this exact reason, harsh ride on low profiles does not suit the 75 imho.

I tow with mine so for me the bigger the footprint the better, for stability. I am thinking that money would be better spent on higher quality low noise, I inherited my 'mixed bag' and road noise is very noticeable.
225/50's would make an 11.5
mm diff to wall height but I haven't done calcs to see effect on speedo, suspect it may show up reading slow.
