I think you got yourself a bargain there Paul, bearing in mind that the cost of the bits new from Rimmers is getting on £300 I recall!

I certainly wouldn't have sold my kit for that little, even to you

Yes - I agree it was a bargain:-

All the jets and pipes plus the washer bottle with both pumps is what we agreed in the end...all for £35 plus courier.

All that remains now is to see whether the wiring is there and if not whether I try to follow the OEM circuit or re-design it to simplify it (at the same time obviating the need for Testbook).

Clearly, I'd rather it was fully OEM.

If the OEM wiring is not in the car and is too difficult to replicate, I can produce an alternative setup I expect.
Not to worry. The wiring for the pump is already in place. But like I said will not work without the correct T4 setting - no power!

So the wiring harness is in place for all cars do you suppose?

After the work involved in the Powerfold Mirrors just for the sake of two wires, to find the OEM loom already in place would be the icing on the cake indeed.

Hopefully, a donation to the Keith fund will sort out the testbook requirements (Assuming you are still prepared and able to do so Keith).

The wiring is definitely there on yp53 (2003 model). It just doesn't do anything until T4 enabled.

You may be lucky I was, my wiring was there although at first I didnt think it was active as it didnt show any voltage but after several presses of the windscreen washer with the lights on it showed a circuit. As mentioned on here it works on a switched earth so make sure you check that.

It always seems to be there when I've seen bumpers off even on MK2's. (the wiring that is).
Keith still does his T4 sessions if you grace his palm with some Dosh $$.
He is not on quite so much at the moment, so a PM might be best contact Paul.

I've just spoken to Keith and he doesn't think headlamp washers are setup in T4.

Oh well - I'll just have to connect them up and see what happens.
