Have a search, Mayor was one who managed it on a diesel, and I think Pondweed was another

This is what you need:
http://www.mgf.ultimatemg.com/ztt/cruise%5Fcontrol/ Make sure you have the wiring in place, otherwise it's a real problem. Please be aware and read previous posts on retrofitting cruise, that it will not work 100% as per book but is useable. To gain full functionality it will require being enabled on a T4 after the ZCS codes have been obtained through Xpart. I haven't bothered as yet but use mine all the time. Russ |

To do is..... Mount the vacuum pump o/s inner wing, which needs to be done from below. Wiring for above wiring to n/s inner wing for ECU connection Testbook Having now looked under a number of partially dismantled cars the wiring is going to be the hardest part, but I do have a plan......

Good to hear that you've nearly got it sorted. As you say the wiring has been the hardest part.
Will keep fingers crossed that the rest goes according to plan. Russ |

Absolutely
I am so damn cross that this info is not available to us I had a guy on the phone a while ago who had swapped his V6 manual for a CDT Auto he had done a cracking job a lot of expense and time on his part could he get the car coded properly no chance nobody could be bothered to take the work on lots of BS from dealers etc. I would have gladly helped him as I don't charge an arm and a leg for my time so could have plodded away at it till done but do I have the info to do it no! Annoyingly in BMW circles there is a tool that works with Ediabas/Inpa software called NCS but it does not recognise our coding Very limited info on the web about BMW ZCS as well which I find very surprising |
