Maybe the windows are a tad too powerful (177bhp)
If you want to sell windows I may be interested.

Such a lovely car, and in Firefrost too. If it was pre March 2005 I could have been very tempted to get in trouble (again!) £500 a year road tax, though, rules me out.

Hope you get a buyer really soon.

Fred

Default Road Tax!

I just don't understand people who say the £490 per year road fund licence puts them off buying this car, a March 2005 identical car would cost £290 per year, a difference of £200 annually or only 55p per day!!

I think the new rules from the DVLA regarding retaxing a vehicle could be the problem. Your £1000 car then another £500 for tax can be off putting. My V6 due to its age costs the same as a 1.4 so is a bargain in my mind, at present the thought of £500 tax, not so brilliant fuel consumption and the cost of the car puts me off on my low income, I'm not alone either. It's a lovely car you have but you just need to have patience till the right buyer comes along.
Good luck

yes it's a shame when you see what you are getting in relation to price a grand and that's all but it's not just rover 75 v6 0r even late mg v6 like the ebay one it's other makes as well.

my father-in-law has just sold his signam v6 3.2 06/56 to we buy any car yes robbers they might be but they put up the dosh for it ! after wasting £120+ on auto trader adverts. what did he get £1100 less £68+ vat for them buying it ;-( tax per year £537. worthless next year with just 80,000 miles on owned from 2 years old. lost £19,876.06p and guess what he's happy to see it gone

The road tax is killing the car market big cars after 2006 will be worthless more will end up on the scrap heap which will be a shame.
On a good note there is a very interested party from the club so fingers crossed

Well put your money up if your happy with tax cost at 55p a day over standard as no one else has as yet could be your lucky day come next year car worth £500 and your tax is more than value try telling your insurance company that

Funny though it seems my insurance company placed a value themselves of £3000.00 on the car November when I insured it They said it was the cost of parts etc that they placed this value on it. Worth more in a crash written off these days
