So, Igo doesn't speak the road names? Blast! I promised myself that the next satnav I have would. I take it it does TELL you which way you should go ie. 'Turn left in 100 yds.'?! Garmin might have the edge for me then!

Yes it gives full directions, there could be an option to turn road names on I've not looked to be honest, I like it telling me as little as possible. The comment "Your over the speed limit" gets me shouting back I know !!!! But it does make me slow down.
Have a good look on their website as there is demos on there too. I'm sure you can drop them an email, or ask Tony_fry on here he has better knowledge of the software than me. All I know is the clarity, great maps and easy menus is a bonus.

Offset
75CONSE, if you look at the examples of the single din
fitted in the offset facia plate there is a nice space, as someone else noted, for a Rover badge there! I have just ordered one of these offset plates with a view to modifying it for a 2 din unit, complete with 'fitting kit' for under £10. Last edited by wuzerk; 6th October 2009 at 14:28.. |

Wuzerk, where are you getting your offset from? I haven't seen any with fitting kit that cheap.

facia
I bought the single Din facia with fitting kit (wiring and aerial adapter) from: www.dynamicsounds.co.uk he is on E bay. you will see the facia on its own for just over
£6 but if you look further you will find it with the fitting kit for not much more! If you search on his site for 'Rover 75' you get the facia with fitting kit for various prices! Look for the same item for only £9.95 and order it if that is what you want. OR go to E bay and punch in item no.250442423642 Last edited by wuzerk; 6th October 2009 at 16:15.. |

IGO8 can have "TTS" text to speech if the right module is installed, its only a couple of extra files that are needed. You can also add skins to the unit for lane assist and you can add speed cams, IGO as mentioned is far better that TomTom (in my opion)
Please feel free to PM me with any questions

A SUITABLE 2DIN Fascia?
On trawling through the E bay lists I found this 2Din fascia which looks as though it could be modified to fit the Rover 75? Item number 270373685284. I live within a bus ride of the shop so will probably take measurements and go there to compare. It costs £39.85.
