Had a quick play again this morning and found the following. I can pick up analogue signals on a rescan. I remember when I tuned on instillation that the digitial channels were stored in the region of channel 50-55. On selcting channel 51 I noticed on the menu page 'EPG' appeared although no info on it I had a distinctive digital function. I then re scanned which took me back to the analouge channels.
Can anybody confirm from which channel on the tuner the digital channels are saved? I cannot find a manual for the hybrid tuner anywhere, tried MGR and BMW forums. Be good to read instructions of how tuner functions and impact rescan has etc... or if there is re boot procedure that could be done. I'd appreciate any links to one. Russ |

Update
Firstly, thanks Jontie for the link (great for reference for all the other on board computer features) I've been hunting high and low but cannot find any reference material on the digital tuner. Been playing and the analogue tuner is working fine, even auto tunes as I drive around. Just leaving me very frustrated I cannot find the digital channels or tune them? Now I have tuned channels if only analogue it confirms PAL-I is the correct setting to tune on. Any literature on the hybrid tuner will be much appreciated. Russ |
