Brilliant looking car.

I had been over it on gumtree for a while but just didn't have the cash.

I'm just down the road from you in EK so I will maybe see it around

It will barely move tbh, I've got a works van so bought this to use as a weekend/special occasion thing. I did want another diesel one but seen this, looked at it, drove it and bought it lol.

Will keep an eye out for other 75/ZT drivers again. Might even get a chance to make it to a meet one night.

I have a grey facelift zt so keep eyes peeled

I know you have literally just bought it but if you ever want a swap for a saloon let me know as I have a big dog who is not really enjoying riding along in the back seat.I didn't really think it through at the time of purchase

Lol hindsight is a wonderful thing! Unfortunately though I'm gonna decline the swap offer. I've developed a thing for estate and I actually think it looks better than the saloon. Plus it's a wolf in sheep's clothing as a Nissan juke discovered tonight haha

yeah,i agree about the looks.

Something about your one stood out on the advert, quite annoyed I didn't buy it now

I know you say it will not move much but I bet your running about everywhere in it just for the joy of driving it.

Bound to bump in to you at the petrol stations!

At the moment it's parked on my dad's driveway. Afraid to drive it to much with the ******** thermostat, don't want to pop the heads. Plus all 4 tyres are 3 points each! Dunno how the guy could allow his wife and 3 kids in it with tyres like that!

when I first saw the ad he had it up for sale at a lot more cash and he was making a big deal about the fancy alloys it had so I guess he sold them off and replaced.

I actually messaged him way back and asked if he would do that to make it cheaper for me to buy but at the time he said no.

I'm sure I saw a post here recently on here about decent tyres that weren't crazily expensive.Might be worth a search.

Dunno, he didn't really seem clued up about the car. He was just wanting rid. But he did say he fancied a zr. His reason for selling was his wife couldn't drive it. The advert I saw was pretty vague and didn't list much about it.

Good sign that he wants to stick to MG.

My wife won't drive mine either, which suits me nicely!

His loss is your gain,I reckon the fact you have a little work to do will make it even sweeter when you get to drive it properly!

Yeah it'll be a good wee project. It's a good car, I can tell that by driving it. It's just been neglected which is something I never do. So over the next few months it'll be brought back and I might even paint the rear bumper.
