Dropped some parts off For Josh that I had acquired and had a quick look around the car, Wow what a project to take on!
That said the car undoubtedly has a charm about it that draws you in. Cannot wait to see how this turns out. Josh, I have found one front fog light if you want it. not sure what side though Do you have the V6 engine cover, think I have one of those as well.

Hello all,
I have some more updates on the restoration of S544 AOX. Since my last post · Fitted a full aftermarket exhaust system as the original was missing · Fitted the wiring for an original high line system (still having issue with this) · Replaced the damaged bonnet hinge · Repaired the bonnet hinge threads · Replaced sticky bonnet latches · Cleaned and ceramic coated the original red spare wheel and wheel well · Sourced an original chrome grill · Sourced a drivers cup holder as the original was missing · Repainted the wingmirror caps sourced via Stocktake above · The best thing was she is now running. Starts first flick of the key. Thank you Josh s reg 39-min.jpg s reg 42-min.jpg s reg 46-min.jpg s reg 23-min.jpg s reg 15-min.jpg s reg 16-min.jpg s reg 44-min.jpg

Josh,
Looks like you are doing a fine job, I hope to see it finished at a show sometime in the future Kevin

Since I last commented on this thread a few jobs have been done.
- The highline system is now all fitted and is working (screen flickering but working) - fitted a replacement front calliper as one was missing only to find the bleed nipple was seized solid and snapped off (job for another day. - replacement blue wing mirror caps painted moonstone till I get some decent priced chrome caps. - I have sourced some replacement body panels from a later longbridge car - The replacement front and rear bumpers spiced above have had the bottoms painted black until I can find some correct Cowley moonstone ones. - genuine parking sensors fitted into the bumper - one of the door cards refitted - parking sensor kit made up from genuine parts. A few other parts have been sourced now for the old girl such as a drivers cup holder, power steering pipes, all the missing interior screws. I’m looking at also fitted an auto dimming interior mirror. If anyone wants to speak about this car I am happy and willing to do so at the NEC where my other half with the forum name Afirth1369 will be displaying her T Reg 1.8 launch car on the 75 and ZT owners club stand. Feel free to ask questions.

Great to see the progress being made and a very interesting car. Floors look in great condition. It deserves to be saved and appears to be in very capable hands. As i said to you when we met at Ripley i love the colour combination Moonstone with aubergine leather. You are going to have a very special car when finished and will fit in well with your fleet. Do you know when it was built?
