Thanks a lot for your responses folks, I'm hoping it's something silly though I suspect it's gonna be expensive.

I should hear back from the garage by the end of the week so I'll post an update as soon as I get one.

In the mean time I'm really missing her, the drive looks awfully empty.

I would suggest it is worth trying the cam sensor and/or the crank sensor

Just a quick update.

I heard from the garage yesterday, apparently the fuel pumps to blame.

About £500 for a new one to be fitted.

Ouch....

The joys of motoring and all that.
